A World Reborn: Chronicles of Paxia (The Chronicles of Paxia Book 4)

About

Almost a century after the destruction of the invading Hoard, a new world is springing up in the Kingdom of Paxia, bourn on the back of the incredible new technologies provided by the eastern refugees who fled their own destroyed land on the opposite side of the great continent.

But curiosity and a longing for a new life and new possibilities have been drawing Paxians to resettle that distant, lost land, far from the tight control of the fledgling parliamentary monarchy that now seeks to tighten its control over all its people.

A thriving colony, far from the restrictions of a distant nobility, has allowed its people to forge their own paths toward the future, and a great gulf has torn between the widely separated territories.

And at last. a means of breaching the seemingly unbreakable barrier of the Great River now exists what will open up the vast, virtually empty continent to settlement by Colony citizens, a capability currently beyond the power of the Kingdom itself.

A population is seeking to flee to new and promising lands.

A monarchy is seeing its people dwindling away, its economy threatened and its future in peril.

And slowly, step by step, war is approaching.

One that will determine the fate of all humanity.
